Posted November 5, 2008 at 6:20 am

Some man who seemed to be a stranger (a United States officer, I presume) made a little speech and then read a rather long paper-the Emancipation Proclamation, I think. After the reading we were told that we were all free,…

McC Telethon! Two Years Strong! (McCovey Chronicles)

Posted October 31, 2008 at 2:50 pm

This is the second year for the McCovey Chronicles telethon for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Last year, my niece was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes, and our family will walk for the JDRF every year until there’s a cure. Onward Netroot Soldiers (Jaybird's Jottings)

Posted September 22, 2008 at 5:39 pm

In six short weeks, our country will elect its 44th President. For some, that’s no big deal. Regardless of the outcome, they’ll keep sending CNN’s Jack Cafferty their bitch and moan e-mails. For others, a lot is at stake. One…

Posted June 24, 2006 at 1:39 pm

I just got a message from the folks at Rehab the Crab: The Crab actually TOOK THE FIELD tonight and sparred with both Lou Seal and the A’s elephant. On the TV broadcast, Krukow went on and on with Crab…
