Take a one-run lead into the twelfth inning.
Dispense one base on balls to the leadoff hitter.
Add one balk call for no discernible reason.
Broach one sacrifice bunt.
Induce one ground-ball-hold-the-runner surprise.
Infuse another balk.
Lose composure entirely.
Cough up game-winning dinger.

Posted May 1, 2007 at 11:32 pmOnce again, the bullpen lets us down. I thought it was doing a fairly good job of not sucking this year, but it still is the bullpen, the Giants’ weakest spot. Of course, there’s also the hitting, but that’s a different story.
